Recent Work

My role with FedEx is a java web developer. The picture on right shows a web application called NGPS, Next Generation Publication Systems, where all the flight and regulatory publications can be accessed. This application can be loaded in mobile devices, iPad, so that a mechanic can refer manuals like AMM, IPC, MEL during an aircraft inspection.

Features that has been added include filtering the content based on the aircraft number entered, show RII (Required Inspection Item) flash to a mechanic which indicates that the aircraft needs an inspection before commencing the task.

The picture on the right shows another web application developed for FedEx called Eforms (Electronic Forms System). This application is used to generate an electronic form template which will be assigned to a work/task card. So when a mechanic is assigned a work card which has an eform attached to it, they will have to complete this eform. This electronic form system replaced the need of manually signing a hard copy.
